Event 2023

Welcome to the NMMP annual scientific conference 2023, organized this year for all SciLifeLab, DDLS and WCMM fellows, as the network is transitioning into Program for Academic leaders in Life Science, PALS. The program aims to improve scientific networks and collaborations across Sweden, as well as to increase the awareness and accessibility of the cutting-edge infrastructure at SciLifeLab.

SciLifeLab is hosting the conference on April 26-28, 2023, at Vår Gård Saltsjöbaden in Stockholm. The conference will start with a visit to the Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences (KVA) in Stockholm, and will then continue at Vår Gård, Saltsjöbaden.

During the meeting, SciLifeLab, DDLS and WCMM fellows are brought together to network around themes such as e.g. molecular medicine, biotechnology, molecular biology and data-driven life science, and will provide major opportunities for collaborations between experimental and computational groups.

We look forward to talks by keynotes

  • Elisabeth Björk, AstraZeneca
  • Anthony Hyman, Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics
  • David Klenerman, University of Cambridge
  • Jason Swedlow, University of Dundee
  • Evelina Vågesjö, Ilya Pharma

With a poster session and focused discussions on the next big questions in Life Science, we believe this will be a highly rewarding event for the participants, and will spur many new ideas and collaborations.

The program has been developed by the Scientific Fellow committee: Juliette Griffié (DDLS Fellow), Olof Eriksson, Daniel Fürth and Erdinc Sezgin (SciLifeLab Fellows) and we gratefully acknowledge the support from KAW for this event.

We are confident that this meeting will be inspiring and full of opportunities. Looking forward to seeing you in April 2023!
